This Week:
- The lower siding is now on the inside and most of the outside.
- Both rooms are framed in and the room is constructed.
- Had our first beer on the screen porch. Did some measuring to assess the right furniture mix in the room, always better done with beer. The floor from the old screen porch moved over well. Contractor did a great job of salvaging and reusing materials where ever possible.
- Had to adjust the pitch for the roof. We tried to follow the roof line running parallel, but that would not give enough room and wood feel like you were looking back into the yard from the rear view mirror of a car. We chose to adjust the slope by 7 degrees and make it a better experience inside the room.
- Shingles on the roof
- Run Electrical and select fixtures
- Complete cedar siding on the exterior
